We were very saddened to read that Barbara had passed away recently. Barbara and Al were wonderful neighbours for 15 years on Royal York road. As newcomers to Canada they were a huge help in teaching us about our new homeland. So many wonderful memories - baking supplies borrowed and lent, freshly caught trout, our kids and their grandchildren playing together, meals shared and many, many more. Barbara supported many worthwhile causes and today we support many of the same ones ourselves. Barbara had a wonderful joie de vivre and I will treasure her tennis and wine group fundraising cookbook that she gave me even more. Our sincere condolences to the family on your loss. Warm regards Lili and Mark Tucker

Seeing Barb's obituary in the Globe brought back so many happy memories at the Caledon Club. Barb was so inclusive and with her big laugh she was the centre of fun and good times. We will miss her. She was one of a kind. Sincere condolences to the family. Thinking of you all.
