John (Johnny) Aldham, made his departure suddenly from this world on February 19th, 2019 at his home in Guelph Ontario.
John will be lovingly remembered by his parents Marybelle and Dwight, his sister Brie, his partner Anne and will be sorely missed by his nieces, Phebe and Sonia and his nephew Ozias. John will be dearly missed by his grandmother Mary and is predeceased by his brother Greg. John touched the lives of everyone he met and will be sadly missed by his extended family and his extensive community of friends and acquaintances. John was a pure soul, who gave of himself without constraint. The loss in our hearts is unfathomable but heaven received a shining light and a brilliant star.
John’s family will receive friends at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 12:30-1:30pm. A Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel at 1:30pm. A reception will follow at Loyola House at Ignatius Jesuit Centre, 5420 Hwy 6 North, Guelph, Ontario from 2:30-6:00pm. The Celebration of John's Life will then continue at The Army Navy Airforce, 32 Gordon St., Guelph, from 6:00-11:00pm where friends can gather for music and memories. Those wishing to make donations may do so to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Wellington Water Watchers. Cards are available at the funeral home, or donations and condolences may be made on line at

A Go Fund Me campaign has been established to allow monetary expressions of sympathy to assist in defraying the costs associated with the estate of Johnny Aldham.

From the Celebrations of Life that took place on Feb 24, 2019, Johnny's influence was immensely wide and deep. He touched the lives of so many people in such a profound and consistently kind and generous way. Any funds raised beyond those required to resolve the estate will be contributed to Wellington Water Watchers on Johnny's behalf. Donations made at your earliest convenience would be greatly appreciated.

Only thing I can think to say is there will never be another Johnny... He's truly one of the best and you can't recreate that kind of perfect person.
