I remember the first time I met Dan. I was about 8 or 9. My family (Terpstra) and Dans family went to the same Church on the Nineth Line (St. Peter’s) As a little girl, I was impressed by how many kids were in the Jones family. They had more girls then boys, and I had more brothers than sisters (I may have been a bit jealous)I remember visiting the family farm (In Milton) and was in awe with the girls and their horses. Many years later I met Dan, Pam, Aislinn and Bronwen through Pony Club. My deepest sympathy Pam, Aislinn and Bronwen. May you find strength and comfort in each other and your memories. My prayers are with you and the entire Jones clan.

I was very saddened to learn of the recent death of my
first cousin Danny Jones. I know he will be sorely missed, especially by
his mother Eileen, his wife and girls and all of his siblings as well as
by his cousins and many friends. I have vivid memories of Danny and his
brother Denis visiting our farm in Shanacknock when he was 17 or so.
Danny and Denis were visiting Ireland on their own and, being tall handsome
Canadians, made a big impression on me and all of us cousins. I think
they really enjoyed that trip to Ireland as they returned many times.
I also have fond memories of chatting with Danny and his father and mother
around their kitchen table of their farm. The last time I met Danny was
in 2011 when we were visiting Waterloo and Eileen hosted a wonderful
gathering for me and my family. I know this must
be a very difficult time for all his loved ones and I and my family
wish to offer our sincere condolences to all of Danny's loved ones.

May he Rest In Peace.
