I wrote a poem for Kerry Reed I met him at the age of 12 He took my breath away We were so innocent Yet explored each other every day So different than any man I knew Touched my soul and took my heart An affectionate adolescents boy Right from the very start We parted ways when I was 15 And his choice for love was not me The drugs took his soul And never set him FREE We met again when we were older And the passion was still strong He was my one and only man I loved In my eyes did no wrong He was one of a kind I miss his touch My first love Whom I miss so much

I wanted to add a special tribute today for Kerry Reed. Today is Valentine’s Day and Kerry was my first love. The greatest gift that Kerry gave me was that he was born. We met when we were teenagers and he was my first and only love. My heart is broken in so many pieces because of his passing and the love I have for him will never be replaced. I miss him terribly and I loved him dearly. He was beautiful inside and out. Thank you Kerry for the beautiful fond memories of our childhood. Happy Valentine’s Day my love and my heart will love you until eternity I love you so much Sheri J.
