Les, every time I think of Ronnie Hawkins, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, and especially Bo Diddley, and all the other big ones of the 50's and 60's that you performed so great. I can see you nailing it with class, and all the right moves. You were my inspiration to have a band and go out and perform.
Through all the years I always looked forward to you coming on stage with me. You were, and always will be a legend in my Hall of Fame for a class act. Rest well Les. My thoughts are with Marion, and all your family. Thanks Les.

Sending heartfelt condolences to Marion and Les's family. It was always such an honour to have Les join me on stage. He had a band in the '50s called the Jay Rockers who were renown in the area and even played on the roof of the Dairy Queen in Cambridge before the Beatles made roof-playing famous. He was a dynamic frontman with killer dance moves. The crowd loved him and he always got them going. He was an inspiration for local musicians and in 2014 we were pleased to induct him into the Yo Team Hall of Fame for his "inspirational contribution to music, those who create it and those who enjoy it". Rest in peace, my friend.
