RANSIER, Margaret Mary;
Margaret Mary Ransier (Kilpatrick) born on December, 9th.1924 in Toronto, ON. Passed away peacefully on January, 1st.2019 in Guelph, ON at the age of 94. Margaret was born to the late William and Margaret Kilpatrick of Scotland. She had one brother, William Kilpatrick. Margaret married the late James Andrew Ransier (1996) on October, 6th.1950. Together they had four children, the late Michael David (2012), William John, Mary Katherine and the late Margaret Jane (2018). Cherished Grandmother to Kathleen Mary, James William, Charmaine, Shannon Nichole, Joshua James, Cheryl Nicole, Dawn Michelle, William Andrew and Amanda Jane. Great Grandmother and Nana to a host of children and extended family and friend’s children, and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure in knowing her.

Margaret lived for many years in Nottawa and Collingwood, ON. Margaret had a huge passion
for volunteering and dedicated her time to her local Presbyterian Church and community throughout her life, and was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion and Ladies Auxiliary.

Margaret Mary Ransier had the most creative, gentle, patient and loving hands and the most beautiful, kind heart and soul. Margaret made a positive impact on all who knew her and had the most captivating smile that she shared with everyone. Margaret loved all of her close and extended family and all of her dearest friends with great pride, and she loved and cherished her Riverside Family and friends throughout her final memories made in her long and beautiful life. Rest in eternal peace to a great mother, now an angel in heaven. In all of our hearts and memories forever and always.

Family and friends can gather in remembering Margaret "Gramma" Ransier in a future Celebration of Life (details to be announced at a later date). Margaret was given a dignity march and Prayer following her passing and a private family visitation was held in Guelph by Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St.N., on Jan, 2nd.2019. Cremation has taken place. Margaret will be joined in forever rest with James Andrew Ransier in the family plot in Nottawa, ON after all Celebrations of Life 2019.
