I've known Wendy for over 13 years when I worked for Loblaws in the grocery dept. She was a hard working and dedicated employee of Loblaws. She always had a cheerful and welcoming demeanor even on bad days. I would always get a smile out of her when I would say to her "top of the morning" in reference to her Irish background. I would often ask her hows she's doing and how's her cat "Katie" doing. "Katie" was a source of strength and hope for her when Wendy would come home after a tiring day at work.
When Wendy passed away, Loblaws lost a wonderful caring employee and left a gaping whole in our lives.
Rest in Peace.....................Wendy
